| Biography | After 15 years as a partner with Irrigation Design Consultants, I created ten Buuren Irrigation Designs in July 1998. My expertise in irrigation systems design for large-scale recreational and commercial landscape projects is particularly valued when they are integrated into high-rise and complex building developments. My areas of expertise are site analysis, pressurised irrigation system design using sprinklers, sprays or trickle; detailed documentation; preparation of technical specifications; coordination eith other services; and collection of base plan data and survey information for the compilation and production of plans necessary for irrigation projects. I studied Cartography at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and gained experience in drafting techniques and surveying practices. I have an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Waste Management, and have attended numerous relevant training courses to broaden and update my skills. I am a founding member and Treasurer of ASIC’s Australian Chapter. I have maintained longstanding and good working relationships with numerous City Councils, Landscape Architects, Services Engineers, as welll as major irrigation supply and construction companies. |
