Toro’s DXi central control system with WMS software utilizes advanced technology for unparalleled soil moisture control.  Up to 16 wired or wireless moisture sensors per DXi controller allows for full irrigation control of each individual irrigation program. 

A quick, simple setup allows for both high and low thresholds on each individual irrigation program creating precise watering control. Having two threshold settings establishes when the irrigation program is allowed to run and controls the amount of time necessary to put back the exact amount of water for each unique program. In addition to control by high and low thresholds, the irrigation manager can start on low threshold and run based on accumulated evapotranspiration.

DXi also includes an exclusive patent pending method of control that prevents dangerously low moisture levels. The irrigation manager sets high and low thresholds to the desired amount of soil moisture for each program. It monitors daily depletion rates, then establishes a safety zone for irrigation to begin in the event daily moisture levels end the day just above low threshold. This exclusive feature provides proven results in preventing plant stress in turf, shrubs and trees.  The irrigation manager never has to worry about dropping dangerously below low threshold before irrigation is allowed to run.
