Biography

Originally from Hyannis, Cape Cod MA, I was in the landscape business since age 14. After graduating Cornell with a degree in Landscape Architecture, worked for Paul Clute & Associates golf course construction company throughout the U.S. on projects by architects such as Art Hills, Robert Von Hagge, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf and many others. In 1995 started an irrigation design business that continues to this day, with approximately 75% of our projects for City municipal golf courses and U.S. Government agencies. From 2005 through 2013 was a licensed contractor performing golf renovations and irrigation system installations in Arizona. My professional focus is golf courses, military cemeteries and sports fields.

Gary Kaye Design is based in Phoenix and Manila, Philippines. We provide irrigation design, landscape architecture services, and project managers during construction. Principal Gary Kaye is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and Associate Member of Golf Course Builders Association of America. Our service area is the U.S. West Coast, Midwest, East Asia, Latin America, Caribbean islands and Europe. Approximately 75% of our work is for City municipal golf courses and U.S. federal government agencies. Recent projects include City of Livonia MI golf, City of Yuma AZ golf, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers flood control, and American Battle Monuments Commission cemeteries.
